Welcome to Borderwise

The Borderwise Project is a cross-border initiative developed in partnership between Citizens Advice in Northern Ireland and the Citizens Information Board. The project is aimed at meeting the advice, information and advocacy needs of people living in the border counties of Ireland, north and south, with a specific focus on rights and entitlements which have a cross-border or conflict related dimension. The work of the project aims to support and enhance the capacity of Advice and Information services in the border region to respond to the complexity of advice and information needs experienced by people in a cross-jurisdictional context. We respond to complex cross-border queries from the public on rights, entitlements and social services and aim to build the capacity of Citizen Advice Bureaux (CABx) and Citizens Information Services (CISs) in the Border counties to provide advice, information and advocacy services in relation to cross-border rights and entitlements.
